Exploring human emotions through art and science

This project explores artistic and scientific representations of human emotions including visualizations, molecular models, a new Molecule of Empowerment, an educational game, and a prototype for the Pavilion of Emotions. The aim of the project is to encourage reflection on human emotions, leading to increased empathy, improved communication, and thus - empowerment. Updates

The Layers of Emotions team has created a Facebook page, "The Dictionary of Indeterminate States" (Słownik Stanów Niedookreślonych).

Team member Marta Mastalerska has designed and built a prototype of the SMARTA lamp, which can be synchronized with an app reading the user’s heartbeat, mood and external factors, such as weather to choose intensity of light. The prototype was premiered at the final event of the “Maker Woman” workshop at FabLab powered by Orange in Warsaw.
