Delivering environmental educational materials and workshops via a water-mobile eco-resource library
Aliana Juson and Keith Cari-An came together to form Suyac Advocates, a team dedicated to bring to life the Floating Eco-Resource Center. This multifunctional floating platform supports youth literacy and engages communities in educational programming around coastal ecology and waste management. The platform “tours” coastal communities, especially Suyac Island, to provide workshops teaching skills like proper waste segregation. Participatory art and performance serve as creative ways to attract the coastal communities while raising awareness on marine conservation.
