This project explores the lived experiences of (il-)literacy in the apparently digitized mediascape, where in fact, analogue, digital, or “analogue-digital” technology equally co-exist. Recognizing that we all are at the same time literate and illiterate to certain types of languages, this team juxtaposes, overlaps, and reflects the image-signs of various technological apparatuses, and experiments with the cognitive functions and effects of visual organs.
