Hanoi Love
HANOI LOVE is a video series depicting stories of love and acceptance from the LGBTQ community and their families, friends and lovers. The series shows that people identifying as LGBTQ are children, friends and family members, who are the same as everybody else and should not be excluded from society.
This project invites the LGBTQ community and their families to a studio where they can open their hearts and share their memories about love. The footage is used to archive important memories.
The videos are uploaded to the “Humans of Hanoi” Facebook page to be heard and shared. Each video has a link to an online form where you can submit your own story which may be recorded and included in the project.
HANOI LOVE is creating two spaces: a physical and a virtual. The studio is where the stories are recorded and once they are uploaded to social media the online space becomes the place where they are heard and shared to maximize the visibility of LGBTQ community.
